Author : José Pedro Arruda |
Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Television consumption began as essentially a public phenomenon, then moving to the private
sphere and the domestic space. In the digital age, television consumption is changing, adapting to new
devices and expanding to other platforms. One of the most prevalent aspects of these changes is related to
the fusion of public and private spaces, which mainly takes place in two dimensions: a technological one,
derived from the uses and functions that audiences give to technical objects; an intellectual one, occurring
by the constant crossbreeds of information and imaginary worlds, allowed by the new media and the
transformations in the ways of using traditional media. |
